Our Pupil Council Committee works hard to shape change in our school.

Through the Pupil Council Committee, pupils requested:

• greater pupil voice in our school - we run our committees once per month and prioritise these groups, ensuring that a member of the senior management team attends (usually the Headteacher)
• access to the 3G pitch at lunchtimes - this is now available to all pupils
• chess club to run at lunch time - this runs in Large Graphics room on a Monday
• greater choice in the canteen for lunches - a grab and go style offer is now in place, with wraps, rolls and baguettes, as well as 2 hot lunch offers daily
• more work to be displayed in classrooms to show off pupils' work - teachers have now shared more great examples of high quality work in classrooms
• More lunchtime and afterschool clubs - we now offer volleyball, fitness strength and conditioning, badminton, netball, girls and boys football and rugby, origami, African drumming, chess, study support, homework club and an arts awards club
• access to school equipment like pencils, pen, rubbers etc when pupils forget - these are available at the school office
• more laptops and ipads to support learning - 100 laptops and a suit of ipads were ordered for pupils and are available in each faculty.
