Biology

Biology is taught by Mrs Brown.

Mrs Brown holds a B.Sc (Hons.) in Zoology from the University of Glasgow and a P.G.C.E. (Secondary) Biology with Science from Strathclyde University.

Mrs Brown taught at Hawick High School for over 15 years before moving to Langholm Academy in March of 2023.

Biology is taught as a discrete Science in S2 and 3. In the senior school courses are offered at National 5 unit pass, National 5 and Higher levels.
