School Uniform
Langholm Academy will implement a school uniform policy that ensures a professional and productive learning environment. CLICK HERE to see the guidance.
School Meals
School meals can be paid for in cash, by debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Android Pay or using a Young Scot Card. For information about Free School Meal entitlement and setting up a Young Scot Card for payment, please CLICK HERE to see the council's advice.
Pupil Support
Langholm Academy offers Pastoral and Curricular support to all pupils. Your child will be allocated either Mr Ferris or Mrs Rae as a single point of contact for both parents/carer and pupils. You will receive a letter in August outlining the contact details for your child's Pupil Support Teacher.

Note that some letters are for all in-catchment pupils and some letters are for pupils who have been invited to enhanced transition. There may also be some letters that are only for out of cacthment pupils.

Transport
In catchment pupils will receive free school transport if they live more than 3 miles from Langholm Academy. Out of catchment pupils can also receive free transport on service buses with a Young Scot Card.
Bus contracts and timetables are outwith the school's control and we urge parents to check local timetables. For council transport information, please CLICK HERE.
