S3 BGE
In S3 pupils opt to take two of the three core Sciences - Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Biology is taught in line with the Broad General Education (BGE), as designated by Education Scotland. In S3 we begin with a topic on "Cells", before commencing "Multicellular Organisms". During S3 pupils cover a range of outcomes at a level(s) suited to their individual learning and develop their scientific skills, including completing a practice assignment.

Homework
The majority of homework will be contained within pupil booklets. Homework will be issued approximately once per fortnight. This may include Microsoft Forms, paper booklets, research projects, experimental write-ups and revision for assessments.
